Wally Sparks is back once again, and this time he brought underground phenom and Birmingham, Alabama rap legend Attitude along for the ride. For those not familiar with Attitude, he is one of the premier songwriters in the music industry having penned hits for major superstars while working closely with Timbaland as a part of his Beat Club crew. Not one to rest on his laurels, Wally Sparks chose Attitude as the first artist to start his new "Hood Fame" mixtape series that will showcase, unsigned, independent, and underappreciated artists. These tapes will flow like mini-albums and will include exclusive music, freestyles, and features by the showcased artist. When asked about the new series Wally Sparks responds, "I want to use these Hood Fame mixtapes as a gauge to test my A&R ear. To see if what I think is dope, is what people will want to hear. I also want to use them as a way to put some of the more underrated southern artists (signed or unsigned) in brighter spotlight. For anyone who thinks that there are no real MC's in the south, this mixtape will certainly change anyone's mind who shares that opinion. Don't sleep, we got that dope down in dixie shawty!!
